Despite a triple bogey on the opening hole at Shilo Country Club, Trey Ross of Rossmere Country Club shares the lead with Braxton Kuntz of Breezy Bend Country Club and St. Charles Country Club’s Jack Rudick following the opening round of the 99th annual Men’s Junior Championship presented by the Alex & Peggy Colonello Foundation.
Ross made four birdies on the day to card an even par 72 (38-34), Kuntz had 5 birdies (35-37) while Rudick had three (37-35).
Jose Mekish-Lacquette, a Golf Manitoba Public Player, is two strokes off the pace at 74 (39-35) while Jack Taylor of St.Charles (38-37) and Golf Manitoba Public Player Zostrianos Giordani-Gross (37-38) are three off the pace.

Clara Peake, a Golf Manitoba Public Players Club member, has a 1 stroke lead over Crystal Zamzow of the Swan River Golf & Country Club in the 74th annual Women’s Junior Championship presented by the Alex & Peggy Colonello Foundation.
Peake went 43-39 for an 82, while Zamzow made back to back birdies on the 14th and 15th holes to come in at 83 (42-41).
Addison Kartusch of St. Charles Country Club (48-39) is five strokes off the lead while Elmhurst Golf & Country Club member Armaan Dhillon (42-47) is seven back.

At four under par, Breezy Bend Country Club (Jordon McDonald and Braxton Kuntz) leads the 36 hole Interclub Championship by one stroke over the Rossmere Country Club (Carter Johnson and Trey Ross) and St. Charles Country Club (Grady Chuback and Jack Rudick).
Elmhurst Golf & Country Club (Adam Ingram and Jacob Taweel) is tied for fourth place, just two strokes off the lead, with the Pine Ridge Golf Club (Austin Boge and Noah Fiks).
