Team Manitoba (Gibson, Orr, Povoledo) combined for a 21-over par start in the Inter-Provincial Team Championship at the Canadian Women’s Senior Championship at The Club at North Halton in Georgetown, Ontario.
Tammy Gibson (Niakwa Country Club) had the low round for our province at 10-over par 82, one stroke better than Hodson Financial Women’s Senior Champion Rhonda Orr (Southwood Golf & Country Club). Fran Povoledo (Southwood) shot a 90.
Manitoba’s sixth seed in the standings is currently 12 strokes back of first place Ontario.
