Winnipeg’s Noah Fiks shot a four under par 67 in his final round at the Carman Golf & Curling Club to earn a four stroke victory over Trey Ross, also of Winnipeg, in the 36 hole Maple Leaf Junior Tour Manitoba Series.
Fiks’ 67, which earned him the Junior Boys title with a two day total 140, was the lowest single day score of any golfer in the six divisions of competition.
12 year old Teerawut Boonseeor of Thailand had an impressive showing with two days of play at 73,68 to win the Pee Wee Boys division.
Jack Taylor of Winnipeg won the Juvenile Boys division at 145 (72-73), two strokes better than Ryan Orchard of the host course (73,74).
Brayden Boge of Winnipeg at 145 (72,73) claims the Bantam Boys crown by six strokes over Jackson Delaurier of Dauphin (74,77).
Crystal Zamzow of Swan River was the top golfer in the 15-19 girls division at 151 (72,79) while Addison Kartusch won the U15 girls division with a two day total 167 (83,84).
