Brad Moore (Pine Ridge Golf Club) has a one stroke lead on Todd Fanning (Niakwa Country Club) and Mike Walker (St. Boniface Golf Club) entering Wednesday’s final round at Selkirk Golf & Country Club in the Hodson Financial Men’s & Women’s Senior Championship.
Moore carded a 5-over par 76 during Tuesday’s second round to jump into top spot on the leaderboard. Fanning came out the gate strong with a 1-under par 34 on the front nine, but then struggled with a 41 on the back. Walker suffered six bogeys and a double in his second round.
In the Super Senior Championship, Walker has an 11 stroke lead on Golf Manitoba Public Players Club members Bill Moslenko and David Klowak.

In the Women’s Senior Championship, Rhonda Orr (Southwood Golf & Country Club) shot an 8-over par 80 to lead Fran Povoledo (Southwood) by six strokes entering tomorrow’s finale. Povoledo also carded an 80. Tammy Gibson (Niakwa Country Club) dropped into third place following an 88.
Orr has an eight stroke lead on Gibson in the Super Senior Championship.
