OTTAWA, Ont. – Addison Kartusch (St. Charles Country Club), Cala Korman (Golf Manitoba Public Player) and Crystal Zamzow (Swan River Golf & Country Club) sit in 6th place after the first round of the 36-hole interprovincial team competition at the Canadian Junior Girls Championship being played at the Marshes Golf Club in Ottawa, Ontario. Kartusch (80), Korman (84) and Zamzow (88) combined for a team total of +20 with Team B.C. shooting a team score of even par.
Clara Peake of Binscarth, Manitoba, was the low Manitoban carding a +5 round of 77 to sit in a tie for 39th. Madelin Boyd, Amy Seung Hyun Lee, Erin Lee, Lucy Lin and Myranda Quinton are tied first place after all opening with a 2-under par round of 70.
