Golf Manitoba, in association with Golf Canada, is pleased to welcome to Kitchen Creek Golf Course as our newest member club.
Located just west of Fort Frances in Northwestern Ontario, this 18 hole course can be played from three sets of tee boxes ranging from 5,638 to 6,424 yards.
Now in their second season under new management group Little Otter Development Corporation, Kitchen Creek is described as “a course with all types of challenges for any skill level, we definitely have a mix golfers will enjoy” said Manager of Operations Ron MacKinnon.
“The creek runs through at least half of our holes so you need to hit your targets, however with the width of some of our fairways you can go after the course too” added Head Golf Instructor Christin Thomson. “Our greens are in real nice shape, but you have to be in the right spot below the hole if you intend to score well”.
Golfers can warm up on the 200 yard practice range as well as the putting green.
The clubhouse restaurant features a full menu to enjoy inside or while dining outside on the patio.
As an official Golf Manitoba / Canada member club, all rounds played at Kitchen Creek Golf Course are acceptable for handicap purposes and may be recorded toward establishing or maintaining an official Golf Canada Handicap Index.
